Tina Rahimi made history in 2023 after she qualified for the Paris Olympics for 2024. In high level sports, Muslim women face more obstacles than other athletes, from a lack of policy understanding coming from higher officials to a lack of behavioural protocols appropriate for women of Muslim faith. Tina began her career as a boxer 5 years ago and has broken down gender, religious and socio economic sterotypes within the sport and in the country.
